The Brooklyn Navy Yard closed in 1966 and was purchased by the City of New York to be converted to an industrial park. During the 1970s, the anchor tenant of the Yard was Seatrain Shipbuilding, which built the largest ships ever built at the Yard, crude oil-carrying supertankers. Seatrain closed in 1979, and though the maritime industry remains very important to the Yard, it has diversified its tenant base, with 550 businesses that employ 11,000+ people in a wide range of industries. The cranes in front of you surround Dry Docks 5 and 6, which are still used today for ship repair. You can see more images of the Yard in the 1970s in the Frank J. Trezza Seatrain Shipbuilding Collection at the Center for Brooklyn History.
Question: What is the name of the company that now operates the shipyard?
