Turnstile Tours, Inc. (“Turnstile Tours”) operates the website https://turnstiletours.com/ (“the Website”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our services, which may include but are not limited to tours, workshops, and virtual tour programs. Turnstile Tours will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

We will collect certain information from you when you make an inquiry or reserve a tour or virtual program with us. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us and which products or services you are requesting, we may need to collect the following information: full name, street address, city, state, zip code, phone number, e-mail address. In order to provide a more inclusive customer experience, we may also inquire whether you would like to voluntarily request accessibility and/or dietary accommodations.

Your information may be provided to Turnstile Tours’ employees on the day of your tour or program so that they can ensure an inclusive customer experience.We may also keep records of the tours, programs, or workshops you have inquired about or reserved in order for us and our tour partners to better understand and respond to the needs and interests of our customers in the aggregate.

Turnstile Tours’ policy is to prohibit the unlawful disclosure of your personal information. Turnstile Tours will only release your name and email address to a third party if we are leading a tour on behalf of or in partnership with a nonprofit partner organization. Otherwise, Turnstile Tours will not release your name or otherwise publicize the fact that you purchased services or other information to us unless: (a) you grant Turnstile Tours permission to do so; or (b) Turnstile Tours is requested or required to do so by law.

Financial Information

Your credit card details are not recorded, stored or retained by Turnstile Tours in any way after making your booking. We use a third-party reservation system “FareHarbor” and a third-party payment provider “Stripe” to process these payments. Because payments are through third parties (FareHarbor and Stripe), Turnstile Tours will not see your full credit card number or banking information if you enter this information directly into our reservation system online. In the interest of convenience, our staff at Turnstile Tours can collect payment information over the phone or via private tour reservation forms, but this credit card information will only be entered into the reservation system and cannot be retrieved once we have processed your payment. Regardless of how you make your reservation, your payment card details are not recorded or retrievable by Turnstile Tours after your payment has been processed.

Photos and Video

When you are traveling with us a photo or video may be taken by the Turnstile Tours’ employee, a professional photographer or another tour attendee. We ask that any photos or video taken by Turnstile Tours’ personnel or otherwise, are done so with permission and respect to the individual. If you do not want to be included in photos or video, please let your Turnstile Tours’ staff member or the photographer know before, during, or after the program, and we will accommodate your request.

Website usage

Turnstile Tours may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Website, including information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. Turnstile Tours may aggregate this information to help us improve or create a better experience for users of the Website. Users who do not wish to have their visit information collected by Google Analytics may opt-out by downloading a browser extension or by disabling cookies in their browser settings. Opting-out of web measurements will still permit users to access the full Turnstile Tours website, with all included information and functionality.

Newsletter Sign Up

Turnstile Tours uses Mailchimp to collect contact information for our mailing list and distribute communications that may relate to upcoming tours and programs. Turnstile Tours does not automatically sign up customers for our email newsletter. Customers must opt into receiving Turnstile Tours’ email newsletter by checking a box requesting to be added in the reservation system or signing up online or at an event. If you sign up for Turnstile Tours’ newsletter, then we provide your email address and name to Mailchimp for the purpose of sending you our email newsletters. You may opt out of Turnstile Tours’ mailing list via the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every Turnstile Tours’ email.
