Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest, largest, and premier whiskey distillery. Founded in 2010 and moved to the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s 1899 Paymaster building in 2012, it was the first distillery opened in the city since Prohibition. Kings County distills, ages, and barrels all of their handmade moonshine, bourbon, and other whiskeys on site, and they offer tours, tastings, and private events at their facility. Check out their schedule of events, join a tour, or stop by their Gatehouse tasting room for a whiskey, cocktail or beer after a Brooklyn Navy Yard Tour. You can also include a visit to the Distillery as part of a private group experience at the Yard.
