Support Our Mission

The mission of Turnstile Tours is to advance public knowledge about the meaning of place, foster connections and understanding between people of diverse backgrounds, and inspire and reflect a culture of community participation. In normal times, we seek to achieve that mission through our guided tour programs, something we have been unable to do since March 11.

In an effort to continue our mission, to stay connected with our customers, staff, and partners, and to keep sharing stories of this city that we love during the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched virtual programs on March 19. We never expected that we would surpass 100 unique programs (a mark we hit in just 91 days) that highlight the sites, stories, and people of New York City and beyond.

Become a Member

We want to continue sharing these stories, but we need your support. We will continue to produce 45–60 minute virtual programs several times a week, and we have a vast archive of over 100 hours of past programs as well. Select the membership level below that best fits your interest and your budget, and thank you for your generous support of Turnstile Tours.

Apprentice* – $5 per month

  • Join two (2) live virtual programs per month ($10 value)

Steward* – $10 per month

  • Join four (4) live programs per month ($20 value)

  • Access to a limited library of recorded past programs (10-15 at any given time)
  • 10% off in-person public tours (when tours resume)
  • Sign up for six months for just $50 ($10 savings)

Quartermaster* – $20 per month

  • Join all live programs (minimum of 8 per month, $40 value)
  • Monthly members-only newsletter
  • Join monthly Virtual Happy Hour with Turnstile staff
  • Access to full library of recorded past programs (100+ programs)
  • 20% off in-person public tours (when tours resume)
  • Sign up for six months for just $100 ($20 savings)

Not interested in a membership?

You can always support us by signing up for an individual virtual program that interests you (each program is $5), or you can purchase a gift certificate, which helps us greatly to weather these difficult times.

* As New York City continues its reopening process, we will be announcing more perks for our members, especially related to in-person experiences, when those become possible to offer safely and under the proper health and safety regulations.

Membership is a recurring payment by credit or debit card, on a monthly or bi-annual basis, depending on which option you choose. Once you sign up, you can cancel or pause your membership at any time from our member portal.
