Prospect Park Sketch & Walk with Nick Golebiewski | Saturday, June 19

Saturday, June 19, 10:30am

Practice drawing techniques while learning about the natural world, architecture, and design of Brooklyn’s Prospect Park on this special “Sketch & Walk” tour with artist Nick Golebiewski and Turnstile Tours. In 2014, Nick started “Nick’s Lunchbox Service,” a project to draw whatever he sees, wherever he happens to be, every single day – seven years later, Nick hasn’t missed a day yet, and he enjoys sharing his sketching techniques to capture the city’s built and natural landscapes. On this tour, Turnstile’s knowledgeable and engaging guide will share interesting stories about the park and its history, while Nick will guide participants in simple drawing exercises at each stop. Nick’s preferred sketch books and pens will be provided to attendees with your ticket purchase, and no drawing experience is necessary!
