Woodside Press is a printing company located in Building 3 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard that creates unique, high-quality printed items using traditional letterpress methods. Their workshop includes typefaces, presses, and linotype machines that have been rescued over the years as lithography and digital printing swept away the old methods. Woodside is a working print shop, but there are opportunities to visit; they frequently host open houses, they are a regular part of our Inside Industry tour series, and a visit or hands-on workshop can be included as part of a private group experience at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
